Born 1959, project-financed statistician 1985-1986, scholarships 1986-1992 (University of Copenhagen), assistant professor in Biostatistics at the University of Copenhagen 1992-1996, associate professor 1996. MSc in 1985 and PhD in 1991, both University of Copenhagen.
Scientific interests: General biostatistics. Statistical computing. Semiparametric and inverse problems with some emphasis on computational aspects. Mathematical modelling of physiological systems.

Statistical consultancy within a wide field of medical research
Chairman of the Danish Society for Theoretical Statistics 1996--2000.
Author of Introductory Statistics with R.
